Training Info

Shardonnay Twirling Majorettes train twice a week at Hunslet Carr Primary School on a Monday and Wednesday  night

 (term time only).

Extra training may be arranged during the holidays venue TBA:

All members are to attend at 5.45. Your training will start at certain times during the session. please see below.

  Tot Team Dinky Team 5:45pm - 6:30pm 10 years old and under

  Tiny Team 6:30pm - 7:15pm 12 years and under

  Juniors 7.15pm - 8.00 pm 13 years and under

  Seniors 8:00pm - 8:45pm 16 plus & open age

Some members may also dance other sections depending on age and ability.

No parents can stay at training sessions.

The troupe trains in various routines - baton, pom, combination, military, flag and occasionally adults.

Some sections may only dance in one of these routines.

All desicions are made by the Trainers.

** All Members are expected to attend 10 minutes earlier to pay subs and get ready for the session to begin **

Uniform - Black Cycling Shorts, Red T-shirt, White soled Shoes, Hair in Bun or Pony, Baton, Tracksuit.

No jewellery, make-up or black soled shoes. NO MOBILE PHONES DURING THE SESSION!

We train hard to compete in competitions during the year - we are members of GBBTA

All training sessions cost £3.00 per week - to be paid on a Monday night. if you dont pay monday it will cost £3.50 on the following night.

The troupe also provides a tuckshop that is available on both nights after each session
